We all know how important our eyesight is in our daily lives, but when you have diabetes the eyes become even more important. Many people with diabetes go blind, or loose most of their sight if they are not careful with medication, diet, and physical activity.
The scary part is that sometimes it takes a loss of sight before people become aware that they have diabetes. By then there can be damage already done.
Some people know something is not right with the way they feel, but discount it. They may not go to the doctor until they can no longer see clearly. Usually, when this happens and the proper diagnosis is made and the treatment is underway, in a couple months the sight will greatly improve.
High blood pressure and high glucose can damage the tiny blood vessels in the eyes, which can eventually lead to glaucoma and blindness.
Please see your doctor immediately if you notice any dramatic change in your vision, it could save your sight and your life.

This is very interesting. I never knew the connection between high blood pressure and the eyes. Great post.
