Scottish researchers have discovered that black tea may help to prevent diabetes type 2. They are two components in black tea that act as insulin on a protein that has linked diet and health.
They are careful to say that these findings are too new and incomplete for people to be drinking black tea instead of taking insulin, but this does offer some new hope for a simple dietary way to manage the condition.
