The key to getting your sugar down is exercise, movement. It doesn't have to be an ordeal. Walk, run, jog, jump, skip, hop, do whatever you like to do but move. Even just a few minutes every other day will help tremendously with sugar control. Remember, I am writing about adult onset diabetes. There are many people with other types of the disease that will have to take insulin all their lives and other medications. Those of you who were stupid enough to invite the disease like I did, and brave enough to admit it, can do something about it.
Take your sugar as a test, and then do a few minutes of exercise, then take your sugar again. You will be amazed at the difference.
